I know the Pass Line bet is a contract bet (cannot be removed once placed), but if I remember correctly all other bets on the table can be removed. The reason is basically because not only does it look bad, but with Dark Side you have to get past the 7 or 11 on the first roll, and once the point is established you're always at the advantage over the casino because a 7 is more likely to roll than any of the six point numbers - so it really doesn't make any sense to remove that advantage after you've already gone through the riskier part of the bet.
I was just watching a video about craps advice/strategies and the guy said it's not a good idea to remove a Don't Come bet that travels to the 6 or 8 by calling 'No Action'. Fairly new player here who's mostly only played on my phone/online so far.
